Another picturesque feature of Tanzania is day visits to Arusha National Park, which is close to the city of Arusha and the Kenyan border. Its centerpiece is the 4566-meter-tall Mount Meru, a well-liked mountaineering location. The park's astounding array of plants and animals can not fail to astound you. The park was also chosen by Hollywood.
We depart from Arusha at 8:00 am every morning, and the trip to the Arusha National Park gate takes about an hour. A half-day walking safari and a half-day game drive will follow from here. An armed ranger will accompany you on the walk and lead you through the jungle to the waterfall and the location where you may see the black and white colobus monkeys. You will witness the Ngurduto Crater and the Lakes of Momella while on the game drive.
Along with other bird species, you will see buffalo, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras, and gazelles. Elephants and leopards are also possible sightings, though they are less dangerous than those in the Serengeti. After a morning of game viewing, we head back to Arusha by car.
