Day 1: Arusha | Moshi to Tarangire National Park
On the first day, after breakfast, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi and embark on a scenic 2-3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, the park offers fantastic opportunities to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, zebras, and a rich array of birdlife. As you journey through the park, your expert guide will help spot animals and share insight into the park’s ecosystem. Enjoy a break for a delicious lunch in the park before continuing your game drive. Later, you’ll head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater, about 2.5 hours from Tarangire. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famous for its high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros). After descending to the crater floor, you’ll enjoy a full day of game drives, spotting wildlife in the lush grasslands, dense forests, and around the small lakes within the crater. Lunch will be served at a scenic spot on the crater floor, allowing you to take in the breathtaking surroundings. In the late afternoon, you’ll head back to your accommodation for dinner and a restful night.
Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha | Moshi
On your final day, after breakfast, you’ll head to the stunning Lake Manyara National Park, located just 1.5 hours from Ngorongoro. Known for its diverse habitats and scenic views of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Manyara is home to tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and a wide range of bird species, including flamingos and pelicans. The park offers a unique combination of wildlife and stunning landscapes, making it a perfect end to your safari adventure. After a delicious lunch, you will continue your exploration of the park before starting your drive back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the late afternoon.
