A Different Side of Kenya We Enjoyed Discovering

After spending time around Mombasa, we wanted to see another side of Kenya, so we travelled as a group to Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey took some time, but travelling together made the trip more enjoyable, and once we arrived, we immediately felt that it had been worthwhile. During our game drive, we saw rhinos, giraffes, zebras and buffalo. We particularly enjoyed driving close to the lake and seeing the birds gathered around the water. The views of the lake and surrounding landscape were also excellent for photography. Travelling as a group on a budget made it easier to share the costs while still enjoying the game drives, wildlife and scenery. It was a completely different experience from the coast and a trip we were glad to have taken together.
