A Journey That Exceeded All Our Expectations

I completed the Machame Route Kilimanjaro climb in 7 days from 11th-17th June 2026, and despite the challenging weather conditions, it turned out to be an incredible experience. A huge credit goes to our knowledgeable Kilimanjaro operator (Tanzania Natural Tours) under Godfrey Alfred Ngaiza, who arranged and organized the best climbing route and the team which ensured the successful summit to Uhuru peak. He went above and beyond to ensure that the entire trek felt far easier than it had any right to be, while taking exceptional care of every member of the group. From start to finish, the level of support was outstanding, we were practically pampered like children. Along the way, our knowledgeable guide also shared a wealth of camping knowledge, tips, and tricks that will stay with us on future adventures. We were incredibly fortunate to be under Godfrey leadership. A special mention as well to our potters, who took wonderful care of us and added immensely to the overall experience. Their support, encouragement, and positive attitude made even some of the toughest sections feel surprisingly manageable. I hope it is the first of many more adventures to come.
