A Kilimanjaro Experience We Will Never Forget.

From China, we completed the 8-day Lemosho Route with Tanzania Natural Tours, and somehow, we all made it to Uhuru Peak. I still get emotional thinking about that night. Our summit coincided with the full moon, and walking through the darkness as the mountain was lit by moonlight was hard to describe. We were exhausted, cold, and moving incredibly slowly, but our guides stayed calm and kept checking on everyone. Seeing the teenagers reach the summit with us made it even more special. Our guides and porters were wonderful throughout, and we loved seeing women working among the mountain crew. Food was another surprise. We had several dietary restrictions in our group, which we thought might be difficult on the mountain, but the chefs handled everything incredibly well.
