A Magical Experience

Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park, Mikumi National Park, Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Nyerere National Park8 Days

My friend Guller Anthony and I booked an 8-day safari with Tanzania Natural Tours, and overall, we had a very good experience. Our driver, Joseph, was excellent at his job and took great care of us throughout the trip. We visited Mikumi, Ruaha, Udzungwa Mountains, and Nyerere National Parks. The drives between the parks were sometimes long and tiring, but they were worth it because we enjoyed seeing wonderful lions in Mikumi and Ruaha, beautiful scenery, and many other wild animals. Unfortunately, we had heavy rain in Udzungwa, so we could not see much except the beautiful forest and one red colobus monkey. In Nyerere, we saw beautiful giraffes, warthogs, eagles, and many waterbirds. We also enjoyed the Rufiji River boat trip, where we saw many hippos and weaver birds, although we were disappointed to see plastic bottles being used to help locate crocodiles, which we felt should not be done. The bandas, lodges, and hotels were all very good and comfortable. All in all, it was a memorable safari, and we would like to thank Tanzania Natural Tours and Joseph for their great service.
