A Summit to Remember

I had a lovely experience with Tanzania Natural Tours as a female solo hiker on the 6-day Machame Route. My guide, Mackson, went above and beyond to make sure I had a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience. He paced us well throughout the hike, kept a positive and encouraging attitude, especially on summit day, and handled any little challenges with calmness and a genuine eagerness to help. The cook and waiter, Mpare and Tomaini, also did an amazing job of keeping me well-fed throughout the trek. I never lost my appetite, and the meals were honestly some of the best I have ever had on a multi-day trek. A big thank you to Emmanuel and Sadick for carrying everything as we moved between huts and camps. Even though I was travelling solo, I never felt alone because the whole team was so friendly, supportive, and caring. I truly could not have asked for a better guide and team to summit Mount Kilimanjaro with. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish, and I would highly recommend Tanzania Natural Tours to anyone planning to climb Kilimanjaro.
