Amazing experiences.

Visiting Serengeti National Park in July, the peak month, is a major investment, but it fully delivers on its promise for wildlife enthusiasts. Catching the Big Five and witnessing the awe-inspiring Great Migration were the main goals of my safari, and seeing those dramatic river crossings firsthand made all the planning worthwhile. While July brings larger crowds and higher tour fees, the payoff in wildlife density is unmatched.

Beyond the incredible wildlife, Tanzania pleasantly surprised me with its comfort, hospitality, and attention to everyday conveniences. I had initially been concerned about logistics and sanitation, but those worries quickly disappeared when I found clean facilities and even bidets widely available in restrooms. The culinary experience was another highlight, with our camp chef preparing fresh, hot, and nutritious meals daily, including eggs, fresh vegetables and fruit, and even unexpected treats like pork bacon.
