An authentic and surprising experience in nature.

From Stone Town, I visited a spice farms in Mangapwani, and it was an amazing experience. Our guide showed us all the spices, explaining which trees and plants they come from, cutting the roots, and letting us smell, touch, and closely observe each ingredient. It was very interesting and instructive, because we often use spices every day without really knowing where they are grown. A highlight was when they invited us to watch a kind of show: a boy climbed high in a palm tree to get the coconuts while singing a song, which made the scene even more authentic and engaging. After the visit, we stayed to eat there and were also offered lunch, all surrounded by nature. Overall, it was a beautiful, genuine, and well-organized experience that I absolutely recommend to those who want to discover something new and spend a moment in contact with nature.
