An Incredible Great Migration Experience

We visited Tanzania in late January and had an unforgettable safari experience in the Serengeti. We were lucky enough to catch the final part of the Great Migration, with huge herds of wildebeest, zebra, and Cape buffalo, along with many adorable newborn animals. The weather was mostly perfect, with only a few evening rain showers. We were also fortunate to see the Big Five, and the parks were wonderfully quiet, with very few safari vehicles around. Several times, we had incredible wildlife sightings all to ourselves. I would highly recommend visiting Tanzania in January, especially for anyone hoping to experience the Great Migration and see the Serengeti at its best.
