How high is Mount Kilimanjaro?
Uhuru Peak, the highest point of Mount Kilimanjaro, is approximately 5,895 metres (19,341 feet) above sea level. At this elevation, the amount of available oxygen is significantly lower than at sea level, which is why acclimatization is one of the most important parts of a successful climb.
