How long does a private Serengeti safari from Arusha take?

A private Serengeti safari from Arusha usually takes at least 3 days, although 4-5 days is more comfortable if you want enough time for wildlife viewing. The journey from Arusha to the Serengeti is long, so a well-planned itinerary normally combines the Serengeti with Ngorongoro Crater or another northern Tanzania safari destination. A private safari also gives you more flexibility to choose your departure time, game-drive schedule, accommodation level, and time spent in different wildlife areas.
