Is Tanzania safe for a safari?

Tanzania is generally considered a suitable destination for safari travel, particularly when you follow local guidance and travel with an experienced, licensed safari guide. During game drives, you should remain inside the vehicle unless your guide tells you that it is safe to get out. You should also follow park regulations, respect wildlife, and take normal precautions with your belongings. With Tanzania Natural Tours states that safari travel is generally safe when travelling with licensed guides.
