Where do climbers sleep on Kilimanjaro?

Accommodation depends on the route. Marangu uses mountain huts, while most other routes use tents at designated camps. Camping on routes such as Machame, Lemosho, Rongai and the Northern Circuit allows you to experience different parts of the mountain while your crew handles the main camp arrangements.
