“Extraordinary wildlife and country”

Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park

I visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire during the low season, starting from Arusha. I was worried that the rainy season would mean fewer animals, but the weather was mostly great with only a little rain. We saw lots of animals, beautiful scenery, and even had the chance to see the Great Migration. Although we didn’t witness the dramatic Mara River crossing, seeing the migration in the Serengeti was still an amazing experience.

Choosing the Serengeti over Masai Mara was a difficult decision because of my budget, but I’m so happy I chose Tanzania. In April, the animals had not yet moved into the Masai Mara, so I was lucky to experience the migration during the so-called low season. It was a wonderful experience, and I feel truly blessed to have finally visited the Serengeti. If the low season was this amazing, I can only imagine how incredible the Serengeti must be at other times of the year!
