From Mombasa Beaches to Lake Naivasha the Beauty was Real

Before visiting Lake Naivasha, I had already enjoyed Mombasa’s highlights, including Diani Beach, Mombasa Old Town, and the Indian Ocean. I wanted to experience a different side of Kenya, so I continued my journey inland to Lake Naivasha. The change of scenery was beautiful as we travelled through the Great Rift Valley. At Lake Naivasha, I enjoyed a boat excursion where we saw hippos and many water birds. I also visited Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, where we encountered giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in their natural environment. The peaceful lake, wildlife, and stunning Rift Valley scenery made the experience unforgettable. Combining Mombasa’s beaches with a Lake Naivasha safari was a great way to experience two very different sides of Kenya.
