Magical time in Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha!

From Kisumu, we had a 4-day group budget safari into the iconic Lake Nakuru National Park and Lake Naivasha with our local tour guide. Our driver picked us up at the scheduled time of 05:30, and we set off feeling excited about the day ahead. He was very kind and pleasant throughout the trip, making us feel comfortable from the start. On the way, we stopped at a beautiful viewpoint to take photos and enjoyed the scenery before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park. Once we entered the park, we were amazed by how green and beautiful it was, especially the unique drive alongside and even through parts of the lake. During the few hours we spent exploring the park, we were fortunate to see a wide variety of wildlife and many different species of birds. Our driver briefly shared interesting facts about the animals we encountered, which made the experience even more enjoyable and informative. After exploring Lake Nakuru, we continued our journey to Lake Naivasha, where we enjoyed a relaxing boat ride of about 25–45 minutes. During the boat ride, we spotted hippos resting in the water, with only their eyes visible from a distance. We also saw an island where several giraffes were moving around. After enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife at Lake Naivasha, we headed back to our hotel. We were very happy with the entire experience and sincerely thanked our driver for making the trip so enjoyable, informative, and memorable.
