Kenya and Tanzania as safari destinations have it all. Starting our safari in Kenya, we explored the famous Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli National Park before continuing into Tanzania and eventually ending in Arusha. The wildlife sightings throughout the journey were incredible, and seeing the Big Five was one of the highlights of the trip. Ngorongoro Crater was probably the best place for close-up wildlife encounters, while the Serengeti gave us the feeling of true African wilderness, with vast open plains, roaming herds of wildebeest and lions resting on rocky outcrops. There is no feeling like being in the middle of the immense savannah with no other vehicle in sight and wildlife stretching towards the distant horizon. After such an unforgettable journey through Kenya and Tanzania, finishing our safari in Arusha was the perfect way to end the adventure.
