Our First Safari: An Amazing Day in Mikumi from Zanzibar

We took a day trip to beautiful Mikumi National park  from Zanzibar and flew directly into the national park with Tanzania Natural Tour the most demanded local tour operator  tour operator . Mikumi met our expectations. It is a small park but we liked it. It was our first time experience with safari.

This trip there lasted 6 hours, we saw giraffes, gnus, zebras, antilopes, elephants,  lion and  lionesses , birds, baboons, crocodiles and hippos. The elephants came very close to the jeep. It was a breathtaking experience. Our guides Baraka was nice, they told us some information about animals and the park. We had a light lunch there. Water was available nonstop.
