Our Honeymoon Adventure on Kilimanjaro

My husband and I chose to spend part of our honeymoon climbing Kilimanjaro on the Marangu Route, and it was such a special experience. We joined Tanzania Natural Tours for six days, and from the beginning, everything was organized smoothly. Our guide, Joseph, was excellent throughout the climb. He was knowledgeable about the mountain, patient with us and always made sure we were walking at a comfortable pace. Whenever one of us felt tired, he encouraged us and reminded us to take our time. The Marangu Route gave us beautiful views and a completely different experience each day. We enjoyed walking through the forest, seeing the changing vegetation and gradually reaching the higher parts of the mountain.

The huts were a nice change from camping, and after long days of walking, it was wonderful to have a comfortable place to rest. The meals were also tasty and gave us the energy we needed for the following days. Reaching the summit together was the highlight of our honeymoon. Standing at Uhuru Peak and looking at the incredible landscape was a moment we will never forget. We are very grateful to the whole Tanzania Natural Tours team for helping make our honeymoon climb such a meaningful and memorable experience.
