The Elephants Were Everywhere, with Kilimanjaro Rising Behind Them

We had a family safari to Amboseli starting from Nairobi and Amboseli has an instant likeability, and although it can be busy with game-viewing vehicles, there are plenty of good reasons for its popularity. Our experience with Tanzania Natural Tours made the whole safari even more enjoyable. From Nairobi, it was a straightforward journey to the park, and once there, everything was easy to explore. More importantly, the animals were everywhere and seemed well accustomed to vehicles, with beautiful landscapes ranging from dusty open plains to shimmering lakes and lush marshes. The highlight for me was watching so many elephants and buffalo half-submerged in the reed beds of the marshes. Predator numbers may be lower than in some other parks, but they are certainly there if you look carefully. We also had some wonderful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, although the mountain was often covered in clouds. Our guide (Japhet) from Tanzania Natural Tours was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive throughout, making the wildlife experience even more memorable. Overall, it was a fantastic safari and a wonderful experience with Tanzania Natural Tours.
