The Journey Was Long, But Tsavo East Was Worth It

Tsavo East National Park4 Days

We left Mombasa early in the morning and headed towards Tsavo East National Park, excited to discover a different side of Kenya. As we travelled inland, we enjoyed watching the scenery change from the coastal environment to the dry savannah and red-soil landscapes of Tsavo East. Once inside the park, we joined a game drive and were excited to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Seeing Tsavo’s famous red elephants was one of the most memorable parts of the safari. We also enjoyed the open plains, peaceful surroundings, and beautiful landscapes throughout the park. By the end of the day, we felt that the journey from Mombasa to Tsavo East had been completely worthwhile.
