Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After breakfast in Moshi, you will drive to Marangu Gate, where you will complete the park registration and begin your Kilimanjaro adventure. The trek starts through the lush rainforest, where you can enjoy the beautiful vegetation and surrounding scenery. After approximately 4–5 hours of hiking, you will arrive at Mandara Hut for dinner and an overnight stay.

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
After breakfast, you will continue your trek from Mandara Hut toward Horombo Hut. After approximately 5–7 hours of hiking, you will reach Horombo Hut, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Today, you will trek from Horombo Hut toward Kibo Hut, crossing the scenic Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo Peaks. The vegetation becomes increasingly sparse as you enter the alpine desert zone. The hike takes approximately 5–7 hours. Upon arrival at Kibo Hut, you will have dinner and rest early in preparation for the summit attempt.

You will start the challenging ascent toward Uhuru and overnight accommodation.
