Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
After breakfast, transfer from Moshi toward Rongai Gate on the northern side of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, complete the required registration before meeting your mountain guide and joining the trekking group. Begin the climb through the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro, following the trail through the forest while gradually gaining altitude. Trek at a comfortable group pace, with regular breaks to allow you to adjust to the mountain environment. Enjoy the surrounding scenery as you make your way toward Simba Camp. Upon arrival, settle into camp, enjoy dinner and rest overnight.

The trail crosses the alpine desert between Mawenzi and Kibo, where vegetation becomes increasingly sparse and the terrain more rocky. Continue at a slow and steady pace as you gain altitude. Your guide will help maintain an appropriate trekking rhythm and provide guidance as you approach Kibo Hut. After arrival, enjoy your evening meal and prepare your clothing, water and personal equipment for the summit attempt. Rest early because the summit climb begins during the night.

Wake around midnight and begin the summit attempt with your group and mountain guide. Continue toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro and the highest point in Africa.
