After breakfast, continue you\'re trek from Simba Camp toward Kikelelwa Camp. The trail gradually moves away from the forest into the moorland zone. After breakfast, leave Mawenzi Tarn Huts and cross the high-altitude desert toward Kibo Hut. The trail becomes increasingly rocky and vegetation becomes sparse. Continue slowly with you\'re guide as you gain altitude. Upon arrival at Kibo Hut, have dinner and prepare you\'re clothing, water and equipment for the summit attempt. Rest early before the night climb.

Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut
Wake around midnight and begin the summit ascent with you\'re group and mountain guide. Trek slowly through the rocky upper slopes toward the crater rim before continuing toward Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres. After reaching the summit, take photographs and enjoy the achievement, subject to weather and mountain conditions. Begin you\'re descent toward Kibo Hut for a short rest before continuing to Horombo Hut. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.
