What It Was Really Like on Our 5-Day Tanzania Group Safari.

Our 5-day Tanzania Group Budget Safari was one of those trips that exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. We had dreamed of experiencing Tanzania’s famous wildlife, but visiting Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater in just five days made the journey unforgettable. From the moment we left Arusha, our guide, Joseph, was excellent in friendly, patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about wildlife, landscapes, history, and local culture. This Group Budget Safari was 5* overall trip rating.

At Lake Manyara, we were amazed by the variety of wildlife, especially watching elephants moving through the vegetation while Joseph explained their behavior. As we continued toward the Serengeti, the excitement grew when we finally saw the endless plains stretching into the distance. One of our most incredible moments came when Joseph suddenly slowed the vehicle and pointed out lions resting in the grass that we had completely missed. We watched them quietly while he explained their behavior, and throughout the game drives he helped us understand that we were not simply seeing animals but witnessing nature in action. Evenings in the comfortable tented lodges added something special to the experience. After dinner, we would sit together, talk about the day's sightings, look through our photographs, and listen to the sounds of the wilderness around us. Watching the sunset over the Serengeti before returning to our tented lodge was one of those simple moments we will never forget.
