Wonderful Safari!

What a wonderful group experience on Zanzibar Island. We were picked up by a minibus from our hotel in Kizimkazi, and two other couples were picked up as well, so 6 in the minibus. The 1st stop was the Spice factory. Our tour was both informative and fun. We then had an amazing lunch with a selection of local food. We then moved on to Stone City, where we were dropped off in the center. There, we were met by our guide, Rashid; apologies if I’ve spelled that incorrectly. We then had a guided, extremely well-informed tour of the places of interest, which included the amazing fish market. We then had a little bit of shopping before took us to the port area for our trip to Prison Island. Again, Rashid showed us the buildings and tortoises and informed us of the history. After an hour, we went back to the port for the return trip. I highly recommend it for value for money and friendly.
